Middleton Leisure Centre are holding a Tennis festival on the 22, 23 and 24 October, local schools are invited to come and take part in the tennis extravaganza.
The sessions will be run by Leeds City Council’s tennis coaches and give young people the chance to engage in high quality tennis coaching, fun games and practice matches.
Neil Jones (Active Sport Officer) commented “It’s a fantastic opportunity with some 300 children visiting to enjoy a fun packed afternoon of tennis and receive some high quality tennis coaching. It’s important that children and their families have an awareness of the activities and opportunities that are available, cheaply in the local area.”
The festival is set to launch new tennis coaching sessions starting in November held at Middleton Leisure centre. The course starts 12 November and runs for six weeks finishing on 17 December.
