Leeds Schools High 5 Netball City Final

 On Monday 9th June 2014 the Leeds Schools Hi 5 Netball City Finals were held at Leeds Met Carnegie Sports Centre.

The final was run by the Sport & Active Lifestyles Development Team in partnership with the School Sports Partnership (SSP)

Were five primary schools across Leeds had to earn their place in the City Finals by winning their respective SSP Netball festivals.

The Hi 5 Netball finalists were St. Benedict, Froebelian, Calverley C of E, St. Matthews and Churwell primary schools.


All these schools played across two sports halls in a league basis competition. The competition was fierce between all the schools on the day but Froebelian were in awesome form winning all four games and scoring 29 goals and conceding only 2 goals throughout the competition.

The matches were umpired by official England Netball Umpires the facilities were of a very high standard and the viewing areas in each of the sports halls were filled with parents and supporters of each school.

The Froebelian Primary School will represent Leeds at the West Yorkshire School Games on the Tuesday 8th July at Leeds Met Carnegie Sports Centre.
