Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust making a difference to lives in Leeds!

Positive Futures are funded by the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust to deliver the get on track programme. The programme works with unemployed 18-25 year olds who are looking to get back into education, employment or volunteering.

The young people attend an 8 week programme where they are supported by Positive Futures staff and ex athlete mentors to increase self confidence, take part in sport, complete a community volunteer project and carry our a range of workshops that will enable them to become work ready.

Previous participants have gone on to secure jobs within LCC, take up volunteer posts across the city and return to full time education in order to work towards their chosen job. This video demonstrates the impact the course can have on the young peoples lives.

The third Get On Track starts on April 2nd 2014, for a registration form please contact Emma Woolford on 07891 275 284 or email Emma.Woolford@Leeds.gov.uk
