Sport and Active Lifestyle Fairs take place in East Leeds

Sports clubs, high schools and local organisations have made two sport and active lifestyle fairs a success at both Roundhay and Boston Spa High School in showcasing physical activity opportunities in both Inner and Outer areas of  East Leeds.

The aim of the fairs was to showcase the opportunities across the East areas of Leeds, with a variety of different taster sessions to take part in, from basketball, dance, rugby, mini tennis, martial arts, cycling, gymnastics, trampolining, cheerleading and climbing as well as cricket, softball, golf, fun runs and tennis.

Special appearances were made by Yorkshire Cricket Foundation who brought along their new portable cricket museum and former Leeds Rhinos player Keith Senior attended, along with mascot Ronnie the Rhino.
